Sunday Funday

Sunday is Funday as it is said but for me all days are same as I am at home these days searching for a job but still not even one day is a Funday for me. Same routine, get up in the Sehri after getting two hour sleep then again lay down in the bed in hope that soon I’ll be asleep. Prepare for iftar in the evening then take rest, make tea have some more food and then again go to bed.

On Sunday we had invited some guests instead some relatives. I cooked for them whole day served them but frankly it wasn’t at all fun. I was tired as hell at the end. And the guests were also so boring. Suddenly they have become boring. previously they were not and i always enjoyed having them at our place. Relatives are actually strange. You so something good, they dont get happy, you dont do something still they dont get happy.... And it becomes more difficult with my kind of people who actually dont do something or dont say anything just to be more acceptable and to make people start liking them..... I just do whatever I think is right and whatever I feel like. There were no comments on my cooking good or bad. only my sweeto husband said that everything was yummy... Nobody except my husband asked me that when I am going to have dinner... i was serving them and just looking out if they need something....

I prepared Biryani and Dum Ka Qeema. A lot of qeema was left so I thought of reshaping it the next day, it was easy. I boiled some chaney ki daal mashed it mixed it with qeema (minced meat) and added some onions, red chilies green chilies and coriander and some salt and yes one egg too. Mixed everything using my hand and then made some kababs and then fried them after rolling them in the egg. finally i have also learnt the skill of getting the leftover food finished after giving it a new taste and appearance without letting anyone know that they are eating what they had left. my mother used to do it alot....... and now its me...

hey I have become alot more housewife kind of thing.....

Islamabad Blomb Blast

On Saturday there was a bomb blast that shaked the nation. It happened in Islamabad Marriott Hotel. Thank God that the driver of the truck loaded with explosives was not able to cross the barrier at the entrance otherwise the whole building would have collapsed. Around 60 people died among whom majority of them were the poor guards and drivers. It was sad, shocking and strange. Strange in the sense that the truck was roaming on the streets of high security areas when President and Prime Minister both were in Islamabad and there were previous information of a possible terrorism incident. What was the security doing then….

Yesterdays Report

Yesterday I planned to make macaroni and keema samosas for Iftar but as AD didnt bring few things that I required to prepare these things, I canceled my plan and just made the routine stuff i.e. chooley, dahi barey, fruit chaat and pakoras....

Unlike past few years when I remained completely disconnected from kitchen and cooking this ramazan is going very well. I am cooking so many things and also praying regularly that had become something very rare as i was more involved in my professional life....

Kher.. i know that i am a good cook. i had interest in cooking since I was in school and always used to try cooking in holidays.... i have very good sense of ingredients like what combination would produce what kind of taste etc. i also cook very good chapaties. So these i am enjoying my cooking. So yesterday I made a chatni that I love. Its made up of red chillies, garlic, cumin seeds and ketchup. Its really hot and yummy. People who like spicy cutnies would definitely love this. I have made a half jar of it and i know that only I will be the one who would be finishing it as in my in-laws nobody likes spicy stuff.

I have also invited guests for iftar and dinner on sunday so i will be preparing for it today. I have to prepare my famous dahi baras today and will see if i could make samosas. For dinner I will make biryani and dam ka keema. People also like the biryani that i make. i will also start sharing my recipies over here soon.

Shampoo can be used to wash the wash basin!!!!

I discovered it today... i washed my washbasin with a shampoo that was kept in my washroom from a long time and neither of us (my hubby and I) used it....

I was trying to sleep after having sehri, offering namaz and reciting Quran.... but couldn't. AD (ma husband) left for his workplace when I got the idea of cleaning my room and the washroom and to give a lil relief to the maid. After brooming and sweeping I started cleaning the washroom and discovered that the washing powder was finished that I usually use to clean the wash basin.... What to do... I was looking around when I saw this old shampoo bottle in the rack and used it to clean the basin... it was great... Washbasin is shinning like a... like a..........like anything that can shine ;) I am brilliant....

Other plans for today include cooking some samosas for iftar and macronies. I will add the recipe over here..........

Created Ma Blog

Hi all,

This is not my first blog, but ya its ma first blog of this kind. My other blogs are a bit related to ma profession and i didnt hide ma identity over there so the problem is that if i will start posting everything about me over there then it would not me good for me.... b/c if anyone would search by my name (for eg. any prospective employer) then my blog will appear in the search result and definitely i would not want him to know that much about me!!!!!!!!!!!

So this blog is about me and my honey. Its alot more easier to write a blog than to write a diary, so i will write anything and everything over here..... Happy blogging to me and to all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
